In 1980, Doug established Penny Construction, with a focus on Home Personalization, Customization, Remodeling and Maintaining. The past 42 plus years have been devoted to providing the highest quality of service and workmanship on New Home Construction, Remodels, Kitchen and Bath 'updates', as well as Additions and Second Homes.  Penny Construction is a licensed General Contractor in the state of Washington.

 

Personal Attention & Hands-on Management

 

A bit old fashioned, the owner is a skilled carpenter working with his tools on each and every project. As a hands-on carpenter and project manager, Doug gives his personal attention, skill, knowledge, and experience to every aspect of each project.

Working closely with our clients, we keep them up-to-date on progress and involved in the process. At Penny Construction, we do not believe in big surprises when it comes to bid/budget vs actuals. Our estimates are honest assessments of project costs; this allows our clients to make decisions based on their preferences. We do not believe in low ball, unrealistic estimates just to get the job; then surprising clients with much higher costs once their project is underway.
